The Trip

Friends and Family, I have created this blogspot so that everyone who wants to keep up with me during my travels can do so visually and interactively at their leisure. Feel free to make comments. I will try to give periodic updates through posts and and pictures describing where I am in my travels.

Sill in the Hole

Hey everyone! Like I said in my previous post I have not been posting much because I have not been traveling, but staying in Jackson Hole Wyoming with friends from UGA.

I have been doing a lot of fishing since I have been here, mostly in Idaho.  The water in the rivers in the Jackson Hole valley are cloudy from the snow melt, so the fishing has been best on the Henry's Fork in Idaho. I've been day tripping to Idaho for the bast few weeks to fish with Cam, Clint, Blake, Kyle, and Hunter (the friends whose house I am parked in front of).

Emma is a curious dog.... She found where we keep the big hooked flies the hard way.

Clint with a nice brown trout... I wasn't so great with the new techniques at first

A real nice brown I happened upon during my fishing.....
Haha I actually found this one dead on the bottom of the river, somebody didn't release him correctly.

This is on a overnight trip with Hunter and his buddies on the Henry's Fork near Island Park

I finally get into a nice fish with someone to take the picture of it too

Jackson, all whole

I am writing to you from Jackson Hole Wyoming! After I left Telluride, I returned to the farm in Pueblo Colorado to visit with my friends Karen and Wray Witten and pick up my camper. The day I returned the Witten's had me over for dinner after giving me a tour of the farm. Karen's brother Jay and his son's Sam and Will also joined us for burgers and we had great meal together.

I went to bed early and got up for an Omelette and coffee with the Witten's and then hit the road for Jackson Hole (an 11 hour drive)! I left around 9:30AM (Saturday the 2nd) and arrived in Jackson Hole around 8:30PM. I parked the camper in front of my friends Blake, Cam, Clint, Hunter and Kyle's house and then I had dinner and drinks with some friends that evening.

This is Aunt Laurie's picture in Telluride the day that they got there in late June (That white stuff is not packing peanuts, its snow)

Getting closer to Jackson....

Closer....

I can smell it

If you click on the picture and look really closely on the left hand side of the street a block down, you will see the camper.

I gave the Camper and Dad's Truck a wash on Sunday. They are looking pretty good. The American flag on the house was my "new neighbor" gift to my friends.

Happy Fourth!

I plan on staying in Jackson Hole for a week or two and then going to Bozeman Montana to meet up with Walt Brannen who is going to law school out there right now.
